This IDF Tear Gas attack on a Hospital is reprehensible and inexcusable.

Israeli forces fired tear gas inside of a hospital in the West Bank city of Jenin on Tuesday that injured 125 people as a two-day raid on the city continued, Doctors Without Borders said.
The tear gas fired inside of the hospital made the emergency room "unusable," and the ER and the rest of the hospital were "completely filled with smoke," after the attack, Doctors Without Borders said in a tweet.
The two-day raid on the West Bank city of Jenin has killed 11 Palestinians, including three children, and left at least 120 Palestinians injured, 20 of them in critical condition, the Palestinian Health Ministry said Tuesday. This is the largest raid in the West Bank since 2002.
The IDF has deliberately destroyed much of Jenin’s infrastructure, that the 18,000 residents depend on.
Most of the Jenin camp does not have access to drinking water because of damage from the raid. Initial estimates also show that most of the camp is without electricity, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs spokesperson Vanessa Huguenin said Tuesday.
From the UN:
Attacks on schools and hospitals during conflict is one of the six grave violations identified and condemned by the UN Security Council. The six grave violations form the basis of the Council’s architecture to monitor, report and respond to abuses suffered by children in times of war.

A CNN team on the ground in Jenin on Wednesday saw roads completely torn up, and massive amounts of damage to buildings, homes and cars. Crews were working to restore electricity that had been severely disrupted during the operation. Images on Wednesday showed residents preparing one grave for all 12 Palestinians killed.
The operations came after rising tensions in Jenin and across the West Bank over the past 16 months.
This amounts to Collective Punishment of the population of Jenin.
Analysts say the use of helicopter gunships is indicative of an increased intensity in the assault against Palestinians.

The Israeli army said that about 100 Palestinians were interrogated, and praised the operation – codenamed House and Garden – as an “extensive counterterrorism effort”.
It also said that it had carried out 15 air raids using helicopter gunships and reconnaissance drones, in conjunction with a ground invasion that involved 150 armoured military vehicles (including tanks and bulldozers) and 1,000 elite special forces.
Snipers were also placed on the rooftops of Palestinian homes on the periphery of the camp, which lies in the middle of the northern city of Jenin.
