This man is truly an a full-force douche'-spigot. Wow, like just, Wow!

“I just find it almost incomprehensible that someone would get angry about Google buses. Is Google responsible for rising rents? Indirectly, yes. What can they do about it? Nothing.”
I know I'm just like a silly coo coo blogger and all, but I think the definition of being responsible for something means that yes, you can,
Do Something About It, if you make an effort to do so. One of these things does go with the other, but apparently not in Tom Perkins' mind. You can be responsible for something and somehow at the same time,
not - because of course if you can afford to do that thing, then I guess you just
have to do it, eh? You can run a red light, but then not be able to stop the
four car pile-up that subsequently happens because you did that. Oops. Sure it's Your Bad, but there was nothing else you could do. Oh well. You can flood a market with expensive buyers, but then you can't do
anything about all the other people who just got priced out of that market. Too bad, so sad -
for them, not you.
Yeah... that's some high-functioning bullshit slinging going on there.
And that's not the worst of it. He also apparently thinks the idea of granting the rich the right to Vote based on their Dollars is somewhere, somehow, a funny ha ha-ho ho jokey type thing.
Perkins spoke with Adam Lashinsky of Fortune at a sold-out Commonwealth Club in San Francisco. Perkins said his idea for better government was, “If you pay $1 million in taxes, you get a million votes.” He later said he was not serious about the remark, and that he made it to be outrageous.
No, stop - you're killing me... no really, STOP, you are KILLING me!
After Perkins is done just totally proving how all the angry little people are just so demented and twisted by envy and jealousy he clearly goes on to prove he has no particular bias of any possible kind. Nope, not a drop.
“We’ve always had a 1%,” Perkins said. “It’s never been considered inequality or a problem until Obama.”
Right, the rich have been
fucking the rest of us in the goat-ass for centuries - why ya'll complaining now? Gotta be the O'bama feller riling up the poor folk.
It doesn't have anything to do with the largest economic crash since the great depression which was fostered and implemented by the 1% investor class, who figured out a way to rig the mortgage loan business like a fixed roulette wheel. While they convinced investors and banks to place a $Trillion on Red, they made sure that the majority of those bets came up Black, sending their own winnings - which were against their own clients interests - through the roof.
It may have seemed like a complicated scam, with lots of dividends and derivatives, but really - it was simple. It was a classic shell game. Tell your client to bet on which shell has the ball under it - but really None of them have the Ball. Tails you Lose, Head I Win. Too bad sucker. Mwah-ha-ha.
Why you mad?
And, also, this...

The president was a regular target in Perkins’ remarks, in which he repeatedly cited fiscal policies and overspending. “It’s what you get when you elect an amateur president,” he added at one point.
Yeah, uh,
what? Is there like a President Apprentice program none of us have heard about? And as matter of fact when President Obama took office in January of 2009, the Federal Deficit was
$1.4 Trillion. Today it is
down to $744 Billion which even in Rich-Man-Math is
nearly half and is projected to be just $544 Billion next year in 2015 with the multiplier effects of the Fiscal Cliff and the Sequester.
So how exactly, has Obama been "Overspending"?
The TARP was a Bush spending program brought on by his own fiscal incompetence, Obama only received the use of half of those funds because Congress wouldn't let Bush spend it all on his own. As a matter of fact Obama didn't come close to using his half, total disbursement, grants and loans for the entire program was only $431 Billion out of the $700 Billion originally allotted, because it was later reduced to a maximum of $475 Billion by the Dodd-Frank Bill. Bush accounted for the first $350 Billion of that spending and 97% of it has been paid back. The Detroit Rescue was successful and has been almost entirely paid back too. The Stimulus was almost single-handedly responsible for our pulling mostly out of the Great Recession and bringing unemployment down from to 6% from over 9%, while the American Jobs Act was Never Even Voted On in Congress.
We still have $Billions in Tax Loopholes for Business and the Rich, so when Perkins talks about "Overspending" he clearly doesn't mean spending and tax breaks for people like himself, does he?
As a matter of fact the largest two impacts on the Federal Budget in 2009 was the depth of the recession, which sharply cut tax receipts....
And President Obama's decision to put the Cost of the War on Terror INTO THE BUDGET, something that Bush had refused to do for years (Meaning, that Spending didn't really increase, it just looked like it because major portions of it were no longer hidden) Even with that hidden portion Federal Spending since 2009 has been reducing as a percentage of GDP.
And if he's talking about the Affordable Care Act, the CBO
Still Says that repealing the bill would
increase the deficit by approximately $109 Billion over the next ten years.
So the bottom line isn't that Obama went "Spending Crazy" because he literally didn't - our Deficit Spiked because the Economy Crashed, people stopped working and they Stopped Paying Taxes. The fastest way to put our fiscal house in order would be to go back to the tax base we had when the Budget Was Balanced Under Bill Clinton, but not even Obama - or most Dems in Congress - are suggesting we do that.
But don't let facts or figures bother a guy like Perkins. No he just keeps going and going...
He also had a cold remark for possible presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, saying, “When she walks into a room, the temperature drops 20 degrees.”
And now we have the trifecta of douche'-holery. He's got the Marie Antoinette caucus in his pocket, then he's got the Billy-Bob bigot brigade, and now he's got the Mad Man Misogynist Moran's all flushed and a twitter.
But surely he has a strong finish for the judges, perhaps a quad-lutz with a toe-grab to really W.o.w. them?
And Perkins touched on his inflammatory letter to The Wall Street Journal last month by defending to some extent his likening of hostility toward the rich to treatment of Jews in Nazi Germany. “The parallel holds,” he said. “Some of the Jews were extremely wealthy. I think the parallel holds.” However, he also noted that nothing can be compared to the Holocaust, and that “I said a forbidden word” in mentioning “Kristallnacht,” the night Nazis destroyed Jewish businesses. Perkins said at one point, “If Germany had America’s gun laws, there never would have been a Hitler.”
Oh, and he
Nails the landing to secure the Douche-Master Grand Gold Medal Prize of being the mid-wife for Ted Nugent and Donald Trump's out-of-wedlock Love Child, since as I pointed out last week over 60% of Gun Deaths in this country, averaging 19,000/year
Are In Fact Suicides.
Congrats Tom, you are a true pioneer, and have gone where no Rich Clueless Ass-Face has gone before.
I stand in awe and wonder to the depth of your self-aggrandizing delusion Sir.
Truly, amazing.
